  • 93% of consumers consider general shipping options to be a very important factor in the overall shopping experience.
  • 88% prefer free shipping with a five-to-seven-day delivery date to paying a delivery fee for one-to-two-day delivery.
  • 60% of consumers say that they have increased their online order total in the past in order to qualify for free shipping.

One potential reason for the emphasis on free shipping is that consumers are starting their Discount Holidays © holiday shopping earlier than ever this year, eliminating the need for some last-minute one-to-two-day deliveries.
