First up, let s look at MagicBands when you go on MyDisneyExperience3, not only will you have the chance to select your MagicBand color, you can also choose to decline it. Previously guests received a new MagicBand with every reservation whether they wanted one or not. This change is a good thing if you don t want tons of MagicBands piling up. But if you are looking to have every MagicBand color in your collection, no problem. You can still get a new MagicBand with each reservation. Plus, here s some fun news starting September 29, 2015, luggage tags included with WDW resort packages are getting an update to coordinate with the MagicBand color you select. The tags will be the same color as the Magic Band you order; however, there is a different character on the tag based on the color.

Here s the breakdown:

Blue= Donald Duck
Gray= Minnie and Mickey
Green= Goofy
Orange= Pluto
Pink= Daisy
Red= Minnie Mouse
Yellow= Mickey

If you opt out of Magic Bands (which was added as a recent choice in My Disney Experience) your luggage tags will be waiting for you at the front desk. Next up PhotoPass photo viewing is getting an update. When you preview the pictures in My Disney Experience, watermarks have now been added over the photo. You must purchase the picture in order to see the photograph without watermarks. Once you purchase the photo (including digital downloads and prints) the watermark will be removed. Presumably the change in PhotoPass came from too many people capturing their photos online with screen grab software and not purchasing the actual photo that s just speculation however.

That s not the only PhotoPass update. The My Disney Experience Mobile App keeps becoming more personal and more enhanced the newest addition ties Disney PhotoPass into your MDE (My Disney Experience) account. Previously, in order to view your photos you needed to log in separately. With the enhancement you can view your ride and dining photos along with Disney PhotoPass Photographer photos right through MDE. MDE will now also allow you to locate Disney PhotoPass Photographer locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort so that you don t have to hunt for them in order to get all of those fabulous pictures.

You can also purchase Memory Maker through the app so you can get all of your photographs for one inclusive price. If you don t have Memory Maker, you will be able to link all of your Disney PhotoPass cards to your MDE with the enhancement.

If you have already purchased Memory Maker, you will be able to use the MDE app to download your photos immediately so that you can share them right to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
