Arsene Wenger is likely to have more than 15 first-team squad members available for the club’s tour of the US as the Gunners look to hit the ground running entering the new season

Arsenal could have more than 15 first-team squad members available for their pre-season tour to the US. The news comes as Santi Cazorla, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal weren’t included in Spain’s Euro 2016 squad, meaning all three will play a full part in the Gunners’ pre-season campaign which currently includes matches in Los Angeles and California. Francis Coquelin, Mohamed Elneny, Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker will also be going on the pre-season tour of America at the end of July where they face games against the MLS All-Stars and Chivas de Guadalajara.

Petr Cech (Czech Republic), Wojciech Szczesny (Poland), Laurent Koscielny (France), Jack Wilshere (England), Mesut Ozil (Germany), Aaron Ramsey (Wales) and Olivier Giroud (France) are all taking part in Euro 2016 for their respective countries and will be given an extended Discount Holidays © holiday once the tournament ends. Alexis Sanchez (Chile), Joel Campbell (Costa Rica) and David Ospina (Columbia) look set to play in the Copa Am rica Centenario while Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries. Added to that, Calum Chambers will be included in England’s under-21 squad for the Toulon Tournament and Alex Iwobi looks likely to feature for Nigeria in the Olympics.

Arsenal first-team players set to have full pre-season include: Martinez (GK), Gibbs, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal, Bellerin, Cazorla, Coquelin, Elneny, Hayden, Gnabry, Walcott, Campbell, Sanogo, Akpom.
