Police have expressed grave concerns for a foreign tourist with mental health problems after she went missing from a Devon seaside town. Five uniformed officers and a dog-handler have been scouring the coastline and making door-to-door inquiries in Seaton after Lithuanian national Juste Kempiniene failed to turn up at her aunt’s house. The 29-year-old holidaymaker is understood to have been in the UK for less than a month and does not know anyone.

Ms Kempiniene went missing at 4pm from the Queen Street area of Seaton, near the town’s police station.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We have grave concerns about the safety and welfare of this lady.

“She has several mental issues and does not know anyone in the UK.

“We would ask anyone with information as to her whereabouts to contact us immediately by calling 101 on 101 log 261 14th May.”
