FRANCE

RISK LEVEL: HIGH

The risk level is high in France following a number of high profile attacks in 2015.

On 7 January 2015, terrorists attacked the ‘Charlie Hebdo’ offices. Later that month there were further attacks at a Jewish supermarket in Porte de Vincennes, Paris, and a police officer was shot dead in Montrouge. In November terrorist attacks killed 130 and injured hundreds more at multiple sites across Paris. The French government has warned the public to be extra vigilant and has reinforced its own domestic and overseas security measures.
