UK’s most popular summer attractions around Surrey

For many families, the school summer holidays1 brings an opportunity to make the most of the country’s great tourist attractions. And, while costly London remains the best-loved British destination for international travellers, there are a host of attractions outside the capital that are proving very popular – and affordable with visitors this summer. We’ve teamed up with the experts at TripAdvisor to reveal some of the most popular UK attractions outside London, based on summer booking interest to date this year.

Within the Top 10 was Legoland2 in Windsor, Thorpe Park3 in Chertsey4 and Paulton’s Park5 in Romsey – all in easy reach of Surrey. We have also looked into how you can visit these top sites for less this summer. Hayley Coleman, TripAdvisor spokesperson said: “Schools out for summer, which means it is peak season for many outdoor attractions in the UK.

“But that need not mean long waits in the queue line for those who book in advance.

“Some attractions even offer early access tickets, so it is worth checking your booking options before you go.”
