Very good compact and light rucksack, 6 Aug. 2016
    By

    First of all it is the perfect size to use 21.7 x 13.8 x 9.8 inches (55 x 35 x 25 cm).
I love this bag. It’s the perfect size and not very heavy. (Allowed as hand luggage on all flights I’ve been on so far including Ryan air and Easyjet). It’s comfortable to wear and I managed to squeeze in enough stuff for a two week inter rail holiday. The Rucksack didn’t feel sweaty on my back at all as the design allows for a fresh breeze between rucksack and back. the straps are comfortable too. If you are going camping and need to bring many camping supplies the bag might be too small but it’s perfect for weekend trips or short back packing holidays (up to a week or two).
Third, this pack was very comfortable to wear, we often walk and take public transport when we are travelling and I never had a problem with this pack, After been thrown in at the deep end, the pack has proved itself as durable too and at least shower proof without the cover – I left this at home as knew I would be too lazy to use it anyway!

Overall I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to see how it does on our next trip at the end of next month
    one more okay?

So far so good, 27 July 2016

This review is from: Mountaintop 40L Hiking Daypack/Camping Backpack/Travel Daypack/Casual Backpack with Rain Cover for Outdoor Climbing School (Misc.)
Not had time to use much as yet but first impressions are reasonable, it’s quite a light bag when compared to a military molle style bag, it’s lacking a few small pockets in my mind and one pocket is awkward and tight to access due to a rain flap, this could be considered a security feature, mine is a burnt orange colour rather than bright as shown in the pic, the largest pocket can be accessed from the top zip or from the bottom zip, I would have preferred a separate pocket here personally. The quality of the finish looks reasonable but I’ve already had a few moments of awkwardness sliding the zips. The strapping is thinner than molle in the main but I’ve found that tightening and releasing them seems to be good, you can get it really tight to your back which I like and it releases easily by lifting the tabs, which incidentally have little holes where you could thread paracord tabs if required. The chest strap has an elasticated section to keep it tight, a nice touch. I bought this for the purpose of MTB cycle commuting so it’s vital that the pack does not move and upset weight distribution when you are riding fast round corners and through single track terrain. So far so good.

I’ve taken this for a few hikes already and it works well with a lot of space and is quite sturdy. Holds a full a jacket, small medkit, and a day hikes worth of food. I also can squeeze collapsible dog bowl and zip lock of dog food in there comfortably. Not a ton of room but it’s comfortable and lightweight.
