Cravings marks 27th year with weekend buffet, workshops

In celebration of its 27th year, homegrown restaurant chain Cravings is unveiling a feast of good eats and surprise treats for its customers this October.

Cravings is holding a weekend buffet, which includes a combination of signature dishes and new Asian specials created by Chef Sau del Rosario. Unlimited cakes and coffee, meanwhile, are available at P270. On October 16, customers who are wearing orange while dining at any Cravings outlet will be treated to a special surprise. October 16 is the birth date of the restaurant.

Meanwhile, those who are into arts and crafts may want to join Cravings Katipunan Weekend Jam, a series of workshops at the new building of CCA featuring some of today s leading local artists. Classes include stampmaking, comics, stencil, watercolor and calligraphy, among others.

Free treats on KFC Delivery Fans Day

KFC fans will surely look forward to KFC Delivery Fans Day because of the exciting treats that await them on September 30. As an incentive to loyal customers, those who purchase P300 worth of meals will be spared from delivery charge. Customers who will order online or via delivery hotline will receive free 1.5L of Coca-Cola, while those who will pre-order between September 20 to 29 through the delivery hotline will receive free 1-piece chicken meal.

Fresher, brighter Pan de Manila

The new outlets of Pan de Manila now sport a fresher and brighter look as it positions itself as a hangout spot, not just a place to buy bread and other products. White-washed walls and shelves adorned with special accents give the new interiors of Pan de Manila a youthful vibe. Kids Menu, a global initiative of the Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn brand, is developed in partnership with Nutrition Australia to guarantee the use of only fresh and healthy ingredients. Some of the items here include Beef Burger and Spaghetti Bolognese which are cooked using 100% lean meat; Nacho Bowl and Fish and Chips that are baked, not fried; and desserts and shakes that use real fruits with no added sugar.

Meanwhile, diners at Flavors have the chance to sample signature dishes from the IHG Culinary Ambassadors as part of the hotel s Culinary Journey promotion. The dishes lined up in the coming weeks include Singaporean Chef Sam Leong s Wasabi Prawns from September 28 to October 11; Michelin-starred Japanese Chef Takagi Kazuo s Miso-marinated Grilled Cod from October 12 to 25; and Italian Chef Theo Randall s Buffalo Mozzarella with Datterini Tomato. These dishes may be availed as a two-course set menu for P1,100++ per person, or as a three-course meal for P1,200++ per person.

Starbucks PH names coffee ambassador

Starbucks Philippines has once again awarded coffee masters through the Coffee Ambassador’s Cup last September 13 at the Colegio San Agustin Auditorium in Makati City. Now on its 9th year, the contest had a latte art and beverage preparation competition, apart from the coffee quizzes and tastings. Out of 30 baristas, Ranchell Pao Legaspi was named as the best coffee master and was named “Starbucks Coffee Ambassador.”
