PLANT POWER: Robert Plant, pictured, turned down a 10m Led Zeppelin reunion

The heavy rock legends were approached to join the star-studded line-up of Desert Trip festival in California alongside The Rolling Stones and Sir Paul McCartney. Surviving trio Robert Plant, 67, Jimmy Page, 72, and John Paul Jones, 70, along with 49-year-old Jason Bonham son of late drummer John were offered the sum to play two 90-minute headline sets over two weekends in October. However, singer Plant refused the offer. And a source said: Jimmy Page is annoyed about it.

They got asked to headline both Sundays ahead of Roger Waters and they were all up for it except for Plant who can t be persuaded.

Plant has turned down all sorts of lucrative reunion offers since Led Zep played the one-off Ahmet Erteg n gig at London s O2 Arena in 2007. The band could do with the dosh after being embroiled in a US court case accusing them of copying their song Stairway To Heaven. Organisers of Desert Trip dubbed Oldchella because of the ageing acts plan to approach Led Zep again next year with a bill featuring Fleetwood Mac, Don Henley and Steely Dan. If Zep can be persuaded, then let s hope they do Glasto too!

FIZZ: Beyonce continued her promoting Lemonade while on holiday

LEMONADE might be two months old, but pop babe Beyonc is still busy promoting her album. Queen Bey reminded us all of the top pop record by sporting lemons on her head while on holiday. And if that message was not clear enough, the chart queen, 34, also wore a dress covered in the citrus fruit and a bright yellow cover-up. Bey made it very clear that she and husband Jay Z are still Crazy In Love by posting snaps of their romantic getaway to Hawaii, with their daughter Blue Ivy. Fans are hoping she ll be bringing her fruit to Glastonbury to join Coldplay on stage this Sunday ahead of her UK tour.

SNUG: Paddy cosies up to the 1D boys in bed

POOR telly host Paddy McGuiness is missing One Direction so much he has resorted to sleeping with their blowup dolls. He s proven he s probably the biggest Directioner going by sharing the rather disturbing snap of him tucked up in 1D duvet covers joined by an inflatable Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Paddy posted the picture on

Twitter and asked: Too much?

Yeah, I think just a little bit. The Take Me Out host, 42, weirded poor Niall out, who replied with: You re a very strange person Paddy, always knew it… Meanwhile Louis enjoyed the attention and tweeted back: Hahaha that is too funny! I m honoured Paddy. It gets even stranger because if you look closer, the four band members pictured on the duvet are also joined by comedian John Bishop.

re the boys going to announce a surprise new fifth member when they eventually return from their hiatus?
