Coronavirus UK news LIVE: Brits can go on holidays abroad from July 6 as deaths reach at least 43,514

BRITS can go on Discount Holidays © holiday from July 6 after ministers confirmed the first air bridges last night. All of Europe could open up for travel corridors from Monday, which would allow people to go abroad safely without the need to quarantine on Discount Holidays © holiday or upon return. But quarantine will still remain in place for those areas most at risk including USA and Brazil with a full list to be published next week.

Meanwhile, half of the UK’s imported coronavirus cases ‘originated in Pakistan’ with more than 65,000 people travelling from the country since March 1. Italy has recorded its lowest death toll in 118 days, while Irish officials have noted a “worrying trend” in coronavirus cases in young people. It comes as the coronavirus death toll in the UK stands at 43,514 after 100 more people died in England in the last 24 hours.
