This is when the National Forest Adventure Farm will be reopening

Popular family attraction the National Forest Adventure Farm has confirmed when it will be reopening. The site has been shut to visitors since Friday, March 20 in response to the coronavirus outbreak. As the Government calms lockdown measures, many sites and businesses are beginning to reopen, including the farm, in Postern Road, Tatenhill.

The farm is due to reopen on Saturday, July 18, it has been announced, to coincide with the beginning of the summer school holidays. Confirmation from farmer and director Tom Robinson reads: "The Adventure Farm has been closed since March 20 and in recent weeks we have awaited news of when we could finally re-open. "Whilst many hospitality venues will be allowed to open from July 4, we have decided not to open until July 18.

"This will ensure adequate time for us to prepare for the farm to open safely.

The site is a great day out for families, with little ones able to get up close to farm animals, while there also being a variety of play areas and even a maize maze.

Workers at the farm have remained busy through the lockdown after Robinson's Drive-Thru Farm Shop was set up, selling fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and even hot food takeaways.
