Deutsche Hospitality opens new hotel in Oman – Business Traveller

Expanding its presence in the Sultanate of Oman, Deutsche Hospitality has opened its second Intercity-branded hotel in the region. The first property was launched in 2016 under the name of IntercityHotel Salalah. The IntercityHotel Nizwa is situated in Nizwa, a city considered to be a cultural centre and historic trading space of the Sultanate.

The interiors adorn a smooth combination of contemporary and local Arab elements. The 120-key room hotel features a restaurant, a cafe and an aqua pool bar. Recreational facilities include a gym, steam bath and a rooftop pool.

For MICE, the property offers a spacious ballroom that can accommodate up to 700 people. In addition, there are three combinable conference rooms available for meeting purposes. The property is well-equipped with amenities for both business and leisure travellers, visiting the stunning middle-eastern country.

Thomas Willms, chief executive officer, Deutsche Hospitality said: "We are delighted to be establishing a further IntercityHotel in Oman. "Oman offers fantastic holiday destinations and outstanding host culture.

Our guests in Nizwa will be provided with a new international hotel with services that combine both European and Arab influences."
