Palace expected to declare July 6 a national holiday

The country says it is re-educating mosque preachers and rewriting school books to stamp out Islamic extremism, as part of its “war of ideas” with Islamic State militants who control large areas of neighboring Syria and Iraq and pose a potential threat to the kingdom.
