Holiday Inn encourages guests to do more of what they love

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has launched its new campaign titled Do More of What You Love , following a successful Australian roll-out. The campaign encourages consumers to re-prioritise their breaks and do more of what they love. It has gone live in Singapore through outdoor, display, mobile and social media. As part of the campaign, a contest is being run on the Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn Facebook page which calls for nominations for friends, partners or colleagues in need of a great break. The Brand will be giving away four holidays including $1,000 spending money for the winners.

The competition asks fans to nominate someone they know is in need of a great break via the Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts Facebook page, for the chance to win one of four holidays and $1,000 spending money. LeeLin Teo, head of brand narketing, IHG, AMEA said: Following an overwhelmingly positive response to Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn s new campaign in Australia, we are excited to launch the Do More of What You Love campaign in Singapore; an important market for us in the region. We hope the campaign will prompt people to take more quality breaks with their loved ones.

Cops responding to call about sick child discover 1,000 bags of heroin in N.J.

A First Aid call to tend to a sick child turned into a drug bust at a Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn in New Jersey. Police officers were dispatched to the Discount Holidays © Holiday Inn on Route 35 in Hazlet, N.J. on Tuesday on a call involving a sick child.

While offering medical assistance to the child, Officers Russell Surdi and Patrick Kiley noticed folded packets of heroin in the hotel room, authorities said1. After a follow-up investigation, more than 1000 packages of heroin and other drugs were discovered. Hazlet Township Police arrested a 27-year-old woman whose name was not released.

She was charged with multiple narcotics offenses and endangering the welfare of a child. The woman had rented the hotel room and was present during the First Aid response. Her relationship to the child was not immediately known.

The 27-year-old is being held on $232,000 bail at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility.
